The Medicare Assistance Program (MAP) provides personalized Medicare counseling to empower, educate, and assist individuals in understanding their options and make informed health insurance decisions that optimize their access to medical care and benefits.
Services include:
- Phone, Virtual, and In-Person counseling
- Medicare and Coverage Options
- Enrollment into Part D and Medicare Advantage Plans
- Screening for Medicare cost savings programs and application assistance
- Help understanding rights and options
MAP services are free and unbiased, and are available to all Medicare eligible individuals, pre-enrollees, their family members, and caregivers. The program assists individuals with questions or concerns relating to Medicare and/or Medicare products. Services are designed to help explain Medicare, health insurance, health service plans, and other options for financing health and long-term care services in an objective and unbiased manner that supports your independent decisions.
The services are provided by trained Volunteer Advisors and staff who are acting in good faith to provide information about Medicare health insurance policies and benefits to you.
