Ruth Chan's self-yoga practice started in the 1970s and she received her Ashtanga Yoga certificate in 2001. She taught yoga right after getting certified, first in San Francisco then Carson City.
Her yoga classes follow the Ashtanga style, with modifications to fit different physical levels. Ruth incorporates the 8-directional bending, twisting, and stretching to attain proper alignment. The poses are designed to help improve flexibility, build physical strength, and increase energy level.
It is recommended that attendees come with a fairly empty stomach, wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.

Fee - $5 per class or $40 for 10 classes
